Dear Abide Project Readers and Supporters, you may have noticed some changes to the Abide Project website. Over the past week we have begun to migrate our content and website hosting to Substack. We have decided to do this for a few reasons, but the most important is that we believe this platform will serve our mission better.
Our mission is: for the sake of the true Gospel, the faithfulness of Christ's Church, the glory of God, and the good of His people, we strive for the Christian Reformed Church to uphold the beautiful, Biblical, confessional, and historic understanding of human sexuality.
Posting articles, video lectures, podcasts, and video updates are only worthwhile if they are being read, listened, watched, and shared. Our previous website, along with our social media presence, served this mission well. Being on Substack means that our articles will be delivered straight to your inbox and be easier to comment, like, and share.
In addition to serving our mission better, being on Substack also means that we no longer have use our donations to pay for expensive website hosting, podcast hosting, and newsletter services. All these are rolled into Substack! Our donations can be used more effectively to support our mission and serve churches across the CRC. We can also solicit and receive support through Substack and still receive your tax deductible donations via Coopersville CRC in the US and Fellowship CRC in Canada.
We are excited for this new chapter in the story of the Abide Project. We are committed to our mission and committed to serving the Christian Reformed Church. New articles are in the queue and will be posted soon. In the meantime, we hope to see you at the convention in a few weeks time.
Over the next few weeks we will continue to bring our old content over to our new website. Like today, you might receive the odd email with an old article - we will try to minimize this from happening.
