“Townhall Zoom: The Transition of Abide” – Thursday, October 29, 2026 at 8:00p EDT / 5:00p PDT
It has been quite some time since the Abide Project has hosted a townhall gathering or lecture. In fact, the output of articles has been quiet as well. All of this is to the praise of God for his mercy throughout the CRC. Much of our mission has been blessed to bear fruit: “For the sake of the true Gospel, the faithfulness of Christ’s Church, the glory of God, and the good of His people, we strive for the Christian Reformed Church to uphold the beautiful, Biblical, confessional, and historic understanding of human sexuality in doctrine, discipleship, and discipline.”
Over these many months of hiatus, many have often asked, “What is the future of the Abide Project?” We have been pondering that same question too. After many discussions over the past year or more, our steering committee is ready to discuss that future. We would like to invite those who have been part of this project in any way to join us for an online townhall meeting the evening of October 29. We will be thanking and praising our Lord for his surprising work and then presenting what is next and see who would be willing to serve going forward.
