What an excellent conversation! ... All three pastors' final "Call to Action" ideas in the last five minutes were worth the price of admission alone. Very wise. Very convicting. Thank you all. (And thank you, Abide, for hosting too.)

Re: the sacraments, that 2nd mark of the true church (BC Art 29), I was struck that there has been much thinking lately on the 1st and 3rd marks... is God using this conversation to help renew the church in also this 2nd mark, this means of grace? In fact, could it be, especially in times of stress and strain, loss and possibility, that we need more of God's Word -- in all its forms? Inscripturated and also in "sign and seal." We need more times at the Table, more times together on our knees, more times remembering our baptismal identity. In times of uncertainty, how much more do we need the edible and cleansing certainties of Christ's work for His Church sealed in the sacraments?

Thank you, Eric, Aleah and Aaron. Praying this conversation continues!

Based upon it's recent decisions, Synod has determined that LGBTQ are abnormal people who don't belong unless they conform and anyone who interprets the Bible as welcoming them as they are also does not belong in the CRC. It is finally about belonging. I dont want to be with people that think that way. It is time to move on.

They don’t care brother. They aren’t grieving, they are dancing on our graves. Their death dance is the fruit Christ warned us about. Be strong, there are actual Christian communities willing to welcome Christ followers.
